These Terms ("Terms") govern your use of the Suuq classifieds marketplace and related apps (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required in your country) and able to form a binding contract to use Suuq.
2. Your account
You are responsible for your account credentials and for all activity under your account. Keep your contact details accurate. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or applicable law.
3. Listings & conduct
You agree NOT to post listings or messages that:
• Are illegal, fraudulent, deceptive, or infringe others' rights.
• Offer prohibited items (weapons, drugs, stolen goods, counterfeit, hazardous materials, regulated wildlife).
• Contain hate speech, harassment, sexually explicit content involving minors, or violent threats.
• Solicit payments outside the listing context or attempt to evade fees.
• Spam, scrape, automate, or otherwise abuse the Service.
You grant Suuq a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host and display content you submit solely to operate the Service.
4. Transactions
Suuq is a venue connecting buyers and sellers. We are not a party to transactions and do not guarantee items, payments, or shipping. You are responsible for verifying the other party and following local laws.
5. Fees & advertising
Basic listings are free. Paid features (boosts, banners, premium placements) are described at the point of purchase. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law.
6. Intellectual property
The Suuq name, logo, and software are owned by Suuq. You retain ownership of content you submit. Respect others' trademarks and copyrights — we will respond to valid takedown notices.
7. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "AS IS" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, to the maximum extent permitted by law.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Suuq is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages, or for lost profits, data, or goodwill arising from use of the Service.
9. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access for violations of these Terms or applicable law.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Somalia, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Disputes will be resolved in the competent courts of Mogadishu, except where local consumer law requires otherwise.
