Suuq ("we", "us", "our") operates the Suuq classifieds marketplace and the Suuq mobile apps (collectively, the "Service"). This Privacy Policy describes what personal information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

• Account data: email address, display name, avatar, and phone number you provide.
• Listings & messages: content you publish, photos you upload, and chats with other users.
• Device & usage: IP address, device type, OS, app version, and basic interaction logs to keep the Service secure.
• Push tokens: if you enable notifications, we store your APNs/FCM token to deliver them.
2. How we use information
• To operate, secure, and improve the marketplace.
• To connect buyers and sellers and deliver messages.
• To verify phone numbers and prevent fraud and abuse.
• To send service notifications you opt into (new messages, listing status, saved searches).
3. Sharing
We do not sell personal information. We share data only with vetted processors required to run the Service (hosting, database, push delivery, email) under contractual confidentiality and security obligations.
4. Data retention
We retain account information while your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated personal data at any time by emailing us. Some records may be retained longer where required by law or to resolve disputes and enforce our Terms.
5. Your rights
You can access, correct, export, or delete your personal data from your account settings, or by contacting us. EU/UK users have rights under GDPR; California residents have rights under the CCPA/CPRA.
6. Children
The Service is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required by your country). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
7. Security
We use industry-standard safeguards including TLS in transit, encrypted storage at rest, row-level security on user data, and least-privilege access controls. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
